Many interesting and unique people live in Groton. Who are they? Lets find
out!

Firstly, we have democratic mayor Keith Hedrick. Hedrick was elected May
1st 2017. During the rise of Covied cases throughout 2020, Keith Hedrick
issued the Declaration of Local Civil Preparedness Emergency act. By doing
so, he warned the community to stay safe during this unprecedented time.

Next are two very young activists, but are very important not just to the
community, but to other activists around Connecticut. In early Febuary,
Ethan Mojica and Muneeb Butt stood outside in the rain holding BLM signs,
and protesting police brutality. I included these two teens, because they
inspire other young people to protest and fight for your rights.

Lastly, I am including Pfizer's vice president and director of the Groton
Pfizer site, John Burkhardt. I am including Burkhardt because in late
2020, he stated that the Gorton Pfizer facility is "playing in the
high-stakes race for a Covid vaccine."
